We are in the age of digital freedom. If we don’t like our jobs, we resign and start an online business.

At least, that’s what the Internet tells us. Does it really work that way?

Yes and no. According to Side Hustle Nation, starting an online business is the #1 side hustle. Overall, I think that’s pretty cool. We are slowly starting to dissolve the idea that you have to pick a career and stick with it for the rest of your life, like it or not.

Sounds awesome, right?

But then you hear quotes like this one:

Well, that’s depressing.

Not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur. Not every online business succeeds.
